in the last weekStayed at The Willows, Thimphu with breakfast included in our booking. Disappointing experience with service. We asked for 2 aloo parathas from the breakfast menu. The waiter refused and argued with us instead of finding a solution. When we raised it at reception, nobody offered any resolution. We found a hair in the fruit platter. Staff were unapologetic and offered nothing to make it right. This raises concerns of food safety and hygiene. Since the menu dishes weren't being served, we asked for a refund of the breakfast portion. This was refused. When we complained to the owner, we only got a sorry, with no refund or gesture. Location is convenient, but the way complaints were handled left us feeling our money was wasted and spoiled our stay. Staff need training in handling guests and basic hygiene.

a week agoi LOVE this hotel, the service and the rooms are INCREDIBLE. the location is convenient. overall the hotel was phenomenal. i would 100% recommend the willows for your next stay in thimphu. all the hotels helpers were nice and the owner super friendly and welcomed us whole heartedly.

a week agoAmazing room, food, location, and service. So convenient and I love how friendly the staff are, the fish and chips here are the absolute best and I would not want to stay anywhere else. The hotel was unbelievable and had great, reasonable prices. Best hotel in Bhutan ever! Food was amazing, ate everything and even had seconds.

a week agoThis small, well-appointed hotel appears to be recently renovated and is extremely clean throughout. Comfortable rooms with impeccable linens. Extremely friendly staff. Dinner is served at your table with quality dishes. The only drawback is the limited variety of breakfast, where the only "Western" food is toast.
