6 months agoMarriott has always been exceptional in delivering quality service and comfort, and Le Méridien was no exception. Every member of the staff was extremely flexible, attentive, and understanding throughout our stay.
When traveling outside India, it is often difficult to find Indian food that truly matches our taste. However, Indrajeet Kumar and Ganesh were incredibly skilled in preparing our favorite delicacies. Indrajeet, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our children were served the food they enjoyed, which we truly appreciated.
Additionally, Kalden (F&B) prepared excellent drinks and always served them with warmth and hospitality. Similarly, Remi Kumari made our breakfast experience delightful every morning with her utmost geniality and welcoming attitude.
Overall, the team at Le Méridien made our stay truly memorable with their genuine hospitality, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile.

4 months agoOverdue review, but I had a great stay from 22 Feb 2026 to 24 Feb 2026 at Le Meridien Thimphu and it was my first solo trip to Bhutan. The staff were friendly, especially during the period when I was having breakfast and dinner and a few staff came up to me and chatted with me as well. During my second stay, I was experiencing mild altitude sickness, one of the staff passed a cup of peppermint tea to me and told me that it'll help ease the symptoms, which it did :) The staff was really nice and hospitable. The food at the hotel was really delicious. The room is very spacious and quiet, although the floor lamp wasn't working, hence I gave 4 stars for the room. The hotel is also close to the centre so it's a walkable distance. Overall, will stay in this hotel again when I am back in Bhutan. Just want to give a shoutout to these staff, Kezang Poida (apologies in advance if the name is spelled wrongly as it was written on a piece of paper and I couldn't decipher), Sangeta Ghalley and Pema. Please continue to keep up the good work! :)
