3 months agoThe rooms are very good as is the property.
The food is ok. The breakfast service is chaos, tables not cleaned, food not replaced, orders are forgotten
Most importantly, the website advertises hi speed Wi-Fi, however it barely works. You have to use your own local data card or your roaming.

5 months agoLemon Tree Hotel, Thimphu is a comfortable 3‑star hotel and a good option for a short stay in the city. The hotel has a lift, which is convenient, especially after long days of travel and sightseeing.
One of the highlights of our stay was the food. The chef is from India, very approachable, and genuinely open to customer feedback. The food quality was good, especially when compared to another resort property of Lemon Tree in Thimphu where we had stayed for two nights earlier. The restaurant space is small but still offers sufficient breakfast and dinner options. If something isn’t readily available, the staff is happy to help and provide alternatives where possible.
The rooms are not very large, but are clean, well maintained, and manageable for a one‑night stay. The staff is helpful, responsive, and quick, making the overall experience smooth and comfortable.
Overall, Lemon Tree Hotel Thimphu delivers good service, decent food, and a reliable stay experience. A solid choice if you’re looking for a well‑managed 3‑star hotel with friendly staff and good hospitality.
