4 months agoIts biggest strengths in its location—it’s truly excellent. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, making it a great place to relax and unwind away from the city rush.
The service was quite good as well. The staff was courteous and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay overall.
However, the arrangements could have been better. There were a few areas where the management and organization didn’t meet expectations, which slightly affected the overall experience.
That said, with such a strong location and decent service, the resort still has good potential. With some improvements in food arrangements, it could offer a much more complete and satisfying stay.

4 months agoWe enjoyed our visit. Beautiful yoga room with a view. Gym also has view, heated infinity pool. Smart room design. Clean overall facilities. Staff caring and attention to detail. We decided to skip a dinner and staff called to make sure we were ok. Food included fresh vegetables and fruit.

7 months agoWe had an absolutely wonderful experience at Dhensa Boutique Resort. As a couple, we were looking for a peaceful and memorable stay, and this resort exceeded all our expectations.
The views over the Punakha Valley are breathtaking, with stunning scenery visible from both the rooms and the common areas. The architecture beautifully blends modern design with traditional Bhutanese elements, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere.
The staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.
If you’re looking for tranquility, comfort, and an authentic Bhutanese experience, Dhensa Boutique Resort is a truly special place. We would highly recommend it and would love to return one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Dhensa in Punakha. Beautiful surroundings, clean and well-kept facilities, and a calm, inviting atmosphere.
The food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive – we felt genuinely well taken care of.
A highlight of our trip, and we would warmly recommend Dhensa to anyone visiting Punakha.

7 months agoThis has to be one of the nicest hotels we stayed in Bhutan and elsewhere. From the time we arrived there, we were in awe. The hotel is located in a pine forest, beautifully set within the forest. The hotel is surprisingly beautiful, from the lobby, to the restaurant, and to the rooms, are all beautiful and well maintained.
We also made sure to use the sauna, brilliant on a cool day.
The dinner and breakfast buffet were both excellent with western and Bhutanese items.
In the evening, the staff entertained all the guests with Bhutanese dances.
The staff are amazing.
