4 months agoWe recently spent three nights at Rema Resort, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The location is perfect—quiet and incredibly peaceful, yet still within easy walking distance to Paro town. Our rooms were lovely, and having a balcony overlooking the beautiful Paro valley and the river was a massive highlight. The views of the surrounding nature are simply stunning.
The food and cocktails were awesome throughout our stay. A special shout-out must go to the incredible resort staff, who were extremely humble and always attentive. They made sure any request we had was prioritized immediately.
An extra highlight that really enhanced the experience—especially for us as pet parents—was the company of a few incredibly friendly resident cats. They wander around the property and are more than happy to come up and let you pet them, completely free of charge! It really made the place feel like a warm, welcoming home away from home.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended if you are looking for great views, delicious food, and top-notch hospitality in Paro.

They also have a hot stone bath and massage that you can do but do book in advance and refer to the menu to see what kind of massage you would prefer!

Toiletries, towels, umbrellas, amenities etc. are all provided! Rooms were spacious as well:) thanks!

6 months agoExcellent place to stay in Paro. It's just outside the center but walkable, on opposite side of river. Quiet river road is great for walking or running. Beautiful terrace here sets main rooms building back from lower reception and restaurant. Excellent food. Comfortable and large, modern rooms, though radiator struggled to warm whole room at night. Great shower with ample hot water from room's own tank. I didn't use spa services, but friends gave massages top marks.
