5 months agoTiger’s Nest Resort, Paro is set in a quiet, isolated location away from the city and offers a distant view of Paro Taktsang, which is arguably the property’s biggest advantage. However, based on our stay, the resort feels more like a 3‑star property, and it’s unclear why it is promoted or priced as a 4‑star resort.
The rooms are reasonably comfortable, but they are in clear need of renovation, particularly the bathrooms and some in‑room facilities, which feel dated. While the stay itself was manageable, the overall condition of the property does not justify the premium pricing displayed online.
Food options are limited, and both breakfast and dinner are served within fixed and restricted time slots, reducing flexibility for guests. The dining experience was average and did not stand out, despite a 3‑night stay. The dessert options were especially disappointing. An important point to note is that while the property has a bar and serves liquor, it does not serve non‑vegetarian food, as it positions itself as a pure vegetarian hotel—something guests should be aware of in advance.
Online pricing often ranges between ₹25,000–₹31,000 per night, which feels significantly overpriced for what is offered. Realistically, the experience aligns more closely with a value of around ₹5,000 per night, considering the facilities, food options, and overall upkeep.
In summary, while the location and views are pleasant and the property has potential, it urgently requires renovation and better value alignment. With meaningful upgrades and improved food service, this resort could offer a much better experience. At its present state, however, expectations should be kept realistic.

Our stay at Tigers Nest Resort in Paro was exceptional from start to finish. The resort is set in a stunning location with beautiful views of the mountains, offering a peaceful and authentic Bhutanese experience.
What made our stay truly special was the incredible hospitality of the staff. They kindly upgraded our room, which was a wonderful surprise and made our visit even more comfortable. To celebrate my wife's birthday, they also thoughtfully decorated the room, creating a memorable and heartfelt experience that we will never forget. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests really stood out.
The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully appointed, while the food was excellent with plenty of delicious options. The entire team was warm, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay.
I highly recommend Tigers Nest Resort to anyone visiting Paro. The combination of breathtaking surroundings, excellent service, and thoughtful personal touches made our stay truly unforgettable.
Thank you to the entire team for making my wife's birthday so special!

5 months agoFull wooden work in rooms. The rooms were exceptionally warm even in 0 degrees. 3 star for being old, else its was a pleasant stay. Food was very good. And staff took great care of us. Very good staff. Location is very good, not very far from tiger nest start location and with good views from hotel. The wooden work gives a vintage feel.

7 months agoOverall, a nice stay. Staff is polite and helpful. However, the location is very far away from Paro town. You could enjoy the view of Tiger Nest (Taktsang Monestary) from this resort which is an unforgettable experience. Food is average overall, Roti and Dal is nice but matar paneer is below average.
