My nephew and I visited Mountain Cafe and order the Buckwheat pancake with honey, and sunny side eggs with butter tea, masala team and earl grey. This was followed up by really nice masala tea and an apple smoothie (sans the banana). Not only was the food awesome but we were lucky to be served by Dorji Wangmo, lady so courteous and elegant that we felt at home. Mountain Cafe is lucky to have staff such as her. BTW, we also wanted to know who was the chef behind the good food and it was Nawang. We stayed here for a couple of hours reading as well as charging our phones so this cafe served multiple purposes for us so for an digital nomads, this cafe will offer you a chance to recharge while working

Mamma mia, what excellent coffee from the cafe's own Bhutanese supply chain. Bravo, bravo! Also good snacks and cakes, that can be enjoyed looking over the downtown bustle.
